" I'm still in the shackles of poison and ropes. Even after reading my diary, they still doubted me.

I knew it would all come down to this: my letter, I wrote in case of the worst outcome. Who would have thought that they would open it for such an absurd reason?

Touching the seal, the letter jumped back and fluttered in the air and spoke in my voice:

– "If you can hear this, it means I'm dead. I hope I could protect you, not like it was with Viscount.
Most likely, you've already read my diary. I cast a spell on it and it recorded my thoughts caused by strong emotions.

Hello Daniil,
I understand that from my diary you learned about the true reason why I killed Viscount. I was ready to take on this cross, but it was hard for me that you considered me a traitor. I hope now you can forgive me and open your heart to our good memories.
I don’t know if you remember how once, the three of us lay on the meadows illuminated by the sun and looked at the sky- dreamed of becoming heroes that the whole world would know about.
I think about it so often!
And from adventure to adventure, we moved forward towards our goal.

I remember how Viscount invited you to join us. I was the only one who spoke out against it. It seemed to me that you were weak and would only distract us. But since then, we have been in all sorts of trouble. And how many times we have extended a helping hand to each other - you can’t even count.

I am so sorry that I could not save Viscount’s life for you!
